C7 NutriBovinos CL: An App for Managing Cattle Herds
C7 NutriBovinos CL is an Android app designed to assist in the management of cattle herds for both beef and dairy production. It allows users to record feed information, create rations, calculate nutritional needs for production, and estimate the capacity of trench silos. The app includes a database of feed analysis (NDT, crude protein, dry matter, phosphorus, calcium, among others) and prices, which can be combined to create different feed formulations. The app also offers two methods for ration formulation: Pearson's Square and Algebraic Method. The nutritional requirements for weight gain and milk production can be calculated, and diets can be simulated to meet those requirements. Users can edit and modify the feed, weight gain, and milk production tables. Additionally, the app includes a basic calculation for silo storage capacity and feed requirements for a given period. The app is currently in version 1, and users are encouraged to test the procedures and calculations and report any errors or suggest new features for future versions.
